Billboard talks to Trey Songz - in its newly relaunched Love Doctor Q&A session -- where the singer/songwriter opens up about getting cheated on, 'Trigga' album, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber.
On getting cheated on: "I think I'm still damaged...it was early on in life. It was like the first girl I ever loved, I took her to the prom...I don't think I ever loved the same."
On Nicky Minaj: "She talking crazy. She killed it. I'm proud of Nicki," Trey Songz said of their "Trigga" collaboration, "Touchin, Lovin." "I'm so proud of her, just to see her evolve into what she is now. She's so smart and intelligent to have masterminded the whole Nicki Minaj rise to where she is... to have become a pop star."
On Justin Bieber: "I really like the way he's developing as an artist. With the latest thing that's come out, with him saying the n-word years ago, I think for him to develop as an artist and do whatever it is that he wants to do, musically, and take all the scrutiny that he does, I think it's hard to deal with," he said.
