Rita Ora has reportedly been spending time with Justin Bieber's friend in the wake of her breakup.
At the end of last week music producer Calvin Harris took to Twitter to confirm he is no longer dating Rita. It's now been claimed that she has turned to Khalil Amir Sharieff as attempts to move on from the relationship.
"Rita was a little mortified that Calvin tweeted about the split but she’s just getting on with things," an insider told British newspaper The Sun.
“She has been with Khalil but who knows how long it will last?”
It's not known why the pair called time on their romance, especially as Rita has given several gushing interviews about her ex of late. She has been promoting her track I Will Never Let You Down, which she recorded with Calvin.
"A lot of things worked against her and Calvin, such as distance and hectic work schedule," the source said
“And Rita is a self-admitted party girl. She likes to have fun and sometimes she can be hard to keep up with - not that there’s anything wrong with that."
It's thought that Rita met Khalil through Justin, as she and the Canadian heartthrob have been working on music together lately. The two guys are good friends, with Khalil one of those with the 20-year-old star when he was arrested for DUI and resisting arrest in Miami earlier this year.
Over the weekend there were claims that it was Rita's friendship with Justin which caused problems in her failed romance. The two were said to have been flirty when they were working together, which apparently irritated Calvin when he heard about it.
TMZ reported Justin and Rita were "touchy feely" when they were laying down new music. She has also recorded more tracks with Calvin, who has reportedly decided they won't see the light of day now.
Rita is yet to comment on the reports. She was holidaying in Mexico last week and performed in Washington last night.
