Members of One Direction have expressed their excitement ahead of tonight’s concert at Wembley Stadium.

The boyband will be making their debut at the 90,000 capacity stadium as part of their Where We Are World Tour. The five-piece will play the first of three nights at the venue, and they couldn’t contain their excitement at the prospect.

“Wembley, you have no idea how excited I am to see you,” Harry Styles tweeted to his followers.

The 20-year-old wasn’t the only one who was bursting with anticipation for tonight’s show. Niall Horan saw today’s gorgeous weather in London as a sign of things to come.

“Absolutely perfect day in London! Suns out! Gona be a cracker at wembley tonight ! Yeaaaaahhhh! [sic]” he wrote on Twitter. The Irishman had previously posted a picture of the empty stadium from the stage and captioned it with the words: “Just got sent this from the stage at wembley! It's wembley day! Aaagggghhh”

The 20-year-old wasn’t the only one who had some pre-show nerves. Fellow bandmate Liam Payne filled his followers in on a scary dream he had ahead of the show.

“Oh my god I just had the weirdest nightmare ever I was naked in the middle of Wembley :/ scary times,” he said.

His strange dreams might have had something to do with the fact that the 20-year-old had a late night out in the English capital on Thursday night. Taking to his social media profile, Liam wrote at 5.57am: “Bad idea to go out”.

But he soon perked up and at 10.35am after a few hours sleep he wrote “Morning time for ... Wembley.”

The groups Where We Are tour has already taken them to South America. Wembley marks the end of their UK leg and the boys will next move on to Europe before heading across to North America.
