Through the release of the tracks 'Chillin' and 'Blessings', Coops has created a real buzz of anticipation for his 'Lost Soul' mixtape with hip hop's key players all turning their heads to hear what all of the noise is about.

Vibe Magazine premiered the 'Blessings' video to it's half a million Twitter followers and both tracks have had a huge wave of support coming in from the UK hip hop gatekeepers such as BBC Radio 1xtra's Charlie Sloth, Kiss FM's Shortee Blitz and Capital Xtra's Ras Kwame.

The mixtape demonstrates the lyrical genius of the 23-year-old and his ability to draw the listener into his every word. His deep and mindful views on his subject matter set on the backdrop of the intricately produced and very musical productions make for a collection of tracks that will give you some real food for thought.

With the majority of the 'Lost Soul' mixtape produced by hip hop producer, Talos, it is evident that the pair have a real musical understanding, resulting in the creation of a fresh and deep-rooted sound.

Released today via his own website, the 'Lost Soul' mixtape is a collection of tracks which represent a number of different meanings and emotions.

Coops explains, "Lost Soul is a reflection of my generation, both musically and spiritually - I'm trying to bring back some of that soulthat music had when I was growing up."
