Beyoncé Knowles has reportedly decided to put her baby plans on hold.
The US singer and her husband Jay Z were plunged into drama earlier this month when video footage of her sister Solange attacking Jay in an elevator after a Met Gala after-party was made public. The three family members have been seen together since and seem to have put things behind them, with Beyoncé and Jay releasing a statement insisting that was the case.
However, it’s been claimed the singer is still embarrassed by what happened and has decided to halt plans to give her and Jay’s two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy a sibling for now.
“Bey likes everything to seem perfect. But now it’s all messed up, so the baby plans are on hold. She’ll support Jay in public, but is going crazy in private,” an insider alleged to British magazine Heat.
Beyoncé is said to be upset not just by the fight between her sister and husband, but by the fallout too. The footage spread across the internet quickly, with people soon trying to work out what had caused the incident. It meant rumours about Beyoncé and Jay’s personal life were brought up again, which she found upsetting.
“She’s feeling humiliated. All of Jay’s past has been dredged up,” the source said. “She broke down in tears when she read that list of women he’s been linked to. She’s been demanding to know just how many other rumours are going to surface.”
Both Rihanna and Rita Ora have furiously shot down speculation about their relationships with Jay in the past. He has worked closely with them at the beginning of their careers and both were appalled to hear rumours that anything untoward had happened.
