Kanye West reportedly practiced his wedding vows in front of a mirror to ensure he got them right.

The hip-hop star married reality TV queen Kim Kardashian at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, on Saturday. It was a romantic ceremony in which the couple made vows they had written themselves, with Kanye taking them incredibly seriously.

“[He] told me he had practiced them in front of a mirror several times to commit them to memory," a guest told People magazine. "He didn't make any mistakes.”

The pair apparently worked hard on what they wanted to say in front of guests. There words included “a little bit of humour and a whole lot of love” and went down a storm with those in attendance.

It was originally thought that Kim and Kanye would tie the knot in Paris, but it’s thought legal red tape stopped them doing so. Instead they held a pre-wedding celebration in the French capital, which saw their guests given a tour of the Palace of Versailles. Lana Del Rey also gave a special performance, while on the big day itself the pair exchanged vows in front of a massive wall of flowers. Kim wore a custom-made Givenchy wedding dress and guests were treated to a pink-themed wedding feast.

“It was a roller coaster, but in the best way," the insider said. "It was a crazy, nonstop, incredible dream.”

One person who definitely enjoyed the festivities was Kim and Kanye’s 11-month-old daughter North, who was also dressed in a one-of-a-kind Givenchy piece. She was apparently carried down the aisle by her grandmother Kris Jenner and didn’t stop clapping the whole way.
