Katy Perry and Diplo reportedly parted ways.
The Dark Horse songstress was first seen hanging out with the 35-year-old music producer at Coachella last month, where they reportedly hooked up.
But it is claimed their alleged romance is no more, as they didn’t share the same relationship goals.
“Diplo broke up with her because she does not want to be in a serious relationship. She's doing OK and not too sad about it. They wanted different things," a source told In Touch magazine. "She freaked out when he wanted to introduce her to his parents. She doesn’t want to get married again — at least not anytime soon.
“She wants to date and he wanted something much more serious. It was too much, too soon."
Another insider notes although Katy “was really into him”, she’s just too busy right now to engage in a committed relationship.
Katy is currently travelling the world performing shows on her Prismatic World Tour and Diplo constantly jets to international locations for DJ sets and other professional obligations. Apparently their hectic schedules drove a wedge between them because Diplo thought it wasn’t “fair” to pursue a relationship when they’re apart so often.
Katy broke up with boyfriend John Mayer in February after nearly two years of dating following claims he cheated.
The 29-year-old singer also finalised her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand in 2012.
Apparently Katy has refused to let relationships, past or present, get her off track as all her efforts are being poured into putting on good concerts for fans.
“Katy is focused on her tour right now," a source told E! Online. "She is not allowing anything to distract her from it."
