Rita Ora is reportedly branching out into horticulture.

The 23-year-old catapulted to fame in 2012 with hits like R.I.P. and How We Do. But now the star is apparently looking into making a business out of one of her favourite hobbies – by opening a chain of flower shops.

"I love flower arranging – it’s so relaxing,” she told UK newspaper The Mirror.

“I want to own flower shops, I love flowers. I love organising them and I love flower arranging – it’s so relaxing. You cut, you rip, you zip.”

As The Mirror reports, the venture wouldn’t be Rita’s first outside of the music industry.

The star has also invested in homes in the UK, US and in her native Kosovo, where she also owns a football team.

Rita has negotiated deals with Adidas and Rimmel as well, and is also head of Ora Multi Services, run by her sister, Elena.

The outlet reports the company made an estimated $1.7 million in 2013.

And the hitmaker insists she isn’t afraid to think outside of the box to build her brand.

“It’s things you wouldn’t expect. Like Dr Dre – he recently finished that massive headphone deal. It’s not like it’s impossible, it’s just about being smart and planning it out. Like 50 Cent with his water. It’s about having good advisers.

I have great people. My sister and family overview the whole thing. It’s a nice little empire – I’m trying to create something so my family can be alright,” she explained.

Rita did not elaborate on a timeline for her latest venture.
