Ciara is showing off her “pregnant lady crip walk” on Instagram.
The 28-year-old singer is expecting her first child with her rapper fiancé, Future.
But Ciara hasn’t let pregnancy slow her down or cramp her style. The star posted a video of herself on Instagram Friday doing the 1970s dance that originated on the streets of South Central Los Angeles.
“Ever Seen A Pregnant Lady Crip Walk?:) #BlimpeWalk Goofing Off Before I Hit The Track 2 Walk:) #LoveMusic.#LoveDance. Happy Friday Everyone!!:) XO,” she captioned the clip.
The video showed the dancer doing her best to hop from foot to foot before she began laughing and holding her belly.
“I can’t even bend down because my belly’s so big!” she laughed.
Ciara has kept fans up to date throughout her pregnancy. One of the most important things she’s stressed to other expectant mothers is to stay active.
“I Walk 2-3 Miles A Day. It Feels So Good!! It's Good For Your Body and Mind! This Is One Of My Most Fun Times Of The Day. Don't Let Pregnancy Slow You Down! Stay Active!:) P.S. Get Those 64oz Of H2o In Too! XO,” she wrote in a previous post of herself at a track.
Ciara has also been spending precious time with friends and family during her first pregnancy. She celebrated the impending birth with celebrity pals including Kim Kardashian, the star’s mother, Kris Jenner, and friend La La Anthony in Beverly Hills back in March.
Ciara and Future have yet to officially reveal the baby’s gender, although the rapper appeared to let it slip when the rapper used “he” to describe the child during a recent interview.
"The baby is already listening to music now. She sent me a video while I was over here with the headphones on her stomach. She said, 'The baby just listened to Turn On The Lights, the version with me and you!' I said, 'He gott- You gotta play that Anytime for him, the new one you did. Let him hear that. See how he kick,'" he said, according to Perez Hilton.
