Justin Bieber says he can’t defend his privacy “every moment of the day”.

The 20-year-old singer is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for attempted robbery following an incident that allegedly took place Monday night at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park.

Justin has broken his silence on the matter, explaining to fans on Twitter Wednesday he is harassed constantly due to his fame.

“It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day. Then to see rumours. The truth will set u free (sic),” he tweeted.

Justin went on to detail his values, claiming he was always taught by his mother Pattie Mallette to treat people with respect.

“My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn’t easy. But we keep trying. I will continue to be the man my mother raised,” he declared.

“I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don’t believe rumours. Thanks for those who stick by me and those that help me grow everyday. I love you. Off to have fun and smile with friends. I’m human. I feel. I hurt. But I got thick skin too. I can handle it. I love you.”

Sources told TMZ Justin was accused of snatching the cell phone of a woman who was snapping photos of him at the California family fun centre on Monday.

However, an employee at the batting cage where the incident allegedly occurred informed the website Justin never made physical contact with the lady.

“She says Bieber was upset, but never got physical with the woman in any way ... and definitely didn't try to grab her phone,” the outlet reports.
