Rita Ora confesses she “dreads going out” sometimes.
The 23-year-old British singer is one of the most photographed celebrities in the world right now.
But Rita frequently finds attending red carpet events to be a huge pain.
“There are times that I dread going out again,” she explained to UK newspaper The Sun.
“I go to things I want to go to, what I think is important and what I can have fun at. I have advisers but it’s my decision.”
Last week Rita attended the star-studded Met Gala in New York City.
The songstress couldn’t believe she had been invited to such a high-profile event and the night seemed almost surreal to her, especially after meeting Anne Hathaway.
“I don’t often get those pinch yourself moments but that was up there,” she recalled.
“I ended up chatting to Anne Hathaway, she looked amazing. She said she was a big fan of mine and I was gobsmacked. I mean, I’ve watched The Princess Diaries like a thousand times, it’s my go-to film.”
It was rumoured Rita may have been feuding with a few of the celebrities at the bash, namely Rihanna and Cara Delevingne.
Rita was so close to Cara at one point she even referred to the model as her “wifey” and apparently they remain tight friends.
“I saw Cara there — it was cool, you know. I adore that girl. She’s a great person. Just because we’re not making it public, it doesn’t mean it’s over,” the singer said.
