Rihanna supposedly visited a life coach to deal with “disappointment” issues.

The 26-year-old No Love Allowed singer is said to have suffered with nervous tension before performances in the past.

And apparently she sought the help of UK-based life coach Natalie Thomas to deal with her anxieties before putting on a major show in London, which earned her an estimated £500,000.

“Rihanna was incredibly nervous ahead of her November 2012 Westfield gig because there was a lot of pressure on her,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.

“Her appearance fee had already been reported and she didn’t want to be a disappointment.

“She saw Natalie who advised her on how to cope and gave her a few techniques and tricks for dealing with that stress, and on building up her confidence. She helped restore Rihanna’s self-esteem and shed her inner critic.”

Rihanna has been going from strength to strength professionally in recent months in spite of the alleged personal obstacles she previously faced.

MTV News reported last week the star recently switched labels.

Apparently Rihanna made her move from Def Jam to Jay-Z’s imprint Roc Nation in April 2013, when Jay made a deal to partner his company with Universal Music Group.

Roc Nation has managed the songstress since 2010.

Jay famously launched Rihanna’s career after bringing her to Def Jam during his tenure as president of the label back in 2005.

He left the company in 2008 and months later partnered with Live Nation on the new venture, signing acts including Rita Ora, Jay Electronica and J. Cole.
