Sinead O'Connor signs new deal

Sinead O¡¯Connor has signed a new deal with Nettwerk to release her new album later this year.

¡®The Vishnu Room¡¯ will be the singer¡¯s tenth studio set since her 1987 debut, The Lion and the Cobra, and the followup to 2012¡äs How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?

Blair McDonald, managing director of the Nettwerk Music Group in the U.K., said ¡°Having published Sin¨¦ad as a songwriter for the last five years, it¡¯s great to now broaden that relationship to the Nettwerk label too. The new recordings are incredible and we¡¯re all very excited to be working on this worldwide release for later this year.¡±

The Vishnu Room is scheduled for an August 12 release.
