Amazon Artist Lounge Live: Kaiser Chiefs Secret Show was a special one-off event from Kaiser Chiefs, their first Brighton show since 2008. The Secret Show featured songs from their chart-topping album Education, Education, Education & War and hits from their ten-year back catalogue including I Predict a Riot, Coming Home and Every Day I Love You Less And Less. Fans were given the opportunity to sign up for the gig through Amazon but only told on the morning if they’d been lucky enough to secure a ticket and that it would be held at Concorde 2 on Brighton’s beach front.

Fans kept up to date by following @AmazonMusicUK on Twitter, on Facebook (Amazon Music UK) and visiting, where they were able to download a free live track from the band.

Kaiser Chiefs latest album, Education, Education, Education & War lead by the single Coming Home has spent 4 weeks in the UK Top 10 with 2 weeks at Number 1. The Brit-award winners have recently announced arena shows for 2015, playing London’s The 02 and the First Direct Arena in Leeds in February.

Described by Steve Lamacq as “The Cannes of the Music World”, The Great Escape is the destination for music lovers and new music fans. During the three days, shows will take place in 35 venues across the city, with music from every genre spilling from seafront clubs, tiny pubs and converted churches. With KELIS, CHARLIE XCX and ELLA EYRE just a few of the 400+ artists performing, the event is selling out fast.
