Courtney Love often doesn't know how to handle her female fans, so takes them to her hotel and lets them try on her clothes.
The 49-year-old rocker has just released a double A side solo single called You Know My Name/Wedding Day and is trying to reform her band Hole. She's played some shows thanks to her new material but admits struggling with the intensity of some of her admirers.
"[The women can be amorous] in the same way they would to a male rock star," she told British newspaper The Guardian. "I don't know what to do with that energy, so I take them up to my room, and maybe do drugs or let them try on my clothes, take lots of photos, selfies. That's what happened to all my babydoll dresses – I gave them away."
Courtney recently played a secret show at a coffee shop in London, UK, where a number of fans who've followed her for years turned up. Some of them were so overcome by seeing the blonde star they burst into tears, which dumbfounded the singer.
"Does that make me sound cold? I just don't get off on my audience like that," she admitted.
Although she's making a musical comeback, Courtney has a lot of other interests. She has a fashion line, has appeared on the big screen and has hinted she has a new plan up her sleeve.
"Yesterday I was thinking about trying to get in to Oxford or Cambridge, to just disappear for four years and study, but I couldn't pick a major," she explained.
Last month marked the 20th anniversary of the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, who Courtney was married to. Much was made of a note found with Kurt after he committed suicide which was released by the Seattle Police Department in which Courtney was referred to as a "b***h with zits". Some took this as proof that all was not well between the married couple at the time of Kurt's death - some of his fans have claimed Courtney was to blame for his passing.
The star has hit back, insisting she was the one who penned the missive.
"Obviously I wrote it – don't you guys understand sarcasm?" she claimed.
