Selena Gomez “felt like a princess” at the Met Gala in New York City last night.
The 21-year-old was attending the prestigious fashion event for the first time. Selena wore a stunning maroon Diane Von Furstenberg gown complete with a plunging neckline and long trail to the event. The whole evening seemed to overwhelm the singer.
“My first MET Gala, *sigh* I felt like a princess who totally downed an entire pizza after. I'll never forget last night,” Selena wrote on her Instagram account alongside two photographs showing off her dress, hair and makeup.
The Come and Get It singer gave an extra shout out to her stylist, who flew into New York especially to help her get ready.
“Um, @_marissamarino and @seama901 flew out for 24 hours for me! Love you ladies! Thank you! #901OG” she added alongside a black and white shot of her old Hollywood style up do.
It was a night of love for Selena, as she also put aside rumours of a feud with her BFF and fellow singer Taylor Swift.
The star posted a 15-second video which showed her goofing around with the 24-year-old inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The video came despite the fact that Selena unfollowed Taylor last month along with a host of other celebrities including on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber.
“Sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets,” Selena captioned the video, seemingly putting to rest any remaining rumours of a problem between the two girls.
