Courtney Love has confirmed the release of a brand new AA single, You Know My Name/Wedding Day, released May 4, 2014.
Having recently revealed “bona fide ripper” You Know My Name online, Courtney now unveils new track, Wedding Day which you can listen to below.
The new songs were produced by Michael Beinhorn and recorded in Los Angeles, California and are the first new solo material Courtney has released since 2004”s America’s Sweetheart. You Know My Name is an undeniable slice of perfect punk pop and Wedding Day a visceral onslaught of guitar riffs with Courtney’s customary impassioned vocals. Both tracks Courtney cites as some of the best music she has made in years.
Courtney Love has confirmed that she will be returning to the UK in May 2014 for a 9 date tour starting with two consecutive shows at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on May 11 and 12 and finishing at Newcastle Riverside on May 22.
This will be Courtney’s first UK tour in 4 years having not played here since May 2010.
