Katy Perry claims she is using dating app Tinder to find herself a new boyfriend.
The Dark Horse singer broke up with boyfriend John Mayer in February after nearly two years of dating following claims he cheated. During a chat with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, the 29-year-old was asked if she was still single.
“Uh, yes I am, hello" she replied before adding, "I'm really deep on Tinder so I don't have a whole lot of time."
Despite sources stating that Katy was heartbroken over the breakup with 36-year-old, she has wasted no time in moving on. Page Six reported last week that the singer got cosy with producer Diplo while at the Coachella Festival.
“Katy and Diplo hooked up at Coachella. They were together behind the main stage, where she had a tour bus or trailer, and a group of her friends were hanging out,” an insider told the publication. “It was very obvious that Katy and Diplo were together. They seemed inseparable and at one point they were seen getting onto her bus together.”
Katy acknowledged her single status for the first time days later after returning from the music gig.
She was able to laugh off the split during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“At least you have a boyfriend!" she joked to a fan.
But the Roar singer isn’t letting herself get too distracted by relationships, past or present, as she has her world tour coming up which will keep her busy from May until November.
“Katy is focused on her tour right now," a source told E! Online. "She is not allowing anything to distract her from it."
