Rita Ora thinks she's perfect for Fifty Shades of Grey.
The blonde singer will star as Mia Grey in the raunchy big screen version of the best-selling erotic novel. Although Rita has dabbled in acting in the past the sensual movie, which also stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, marks her first foray into Hollywood. Talking about the film's subject matter, Rita says she relates to the sexual antics that take place in the narrative.
"I like a whip. This is why Fifty Shades was perfect for me because I really love the book," Rita smiled to Power 105.1 FM. “But I like unexpected stuff.”
When quizzed further on her bedroom antics the How We Do (Party) songstress even confessed to liking a bit of pain in the boudoir.
"Tiny bit, not too much," she divulged.
Rita's beau Calvin Harris may not be overly impressed with the intimate confessions, but the 23-year-old singer's plans to whisk him away may soften the blow.
"We need to go away together, we haven’t done that for a long time. I want to take my weave out, take my make-up off. It would be nice to spend some quality time. I’d like to go to Thailand because I like Thai food," she said.
“When I shot that music video with Snoop Dog in Thailand, we went to this amazing resort called Shangri-La where they had see-through pools, so when you swim you can see your body in the reflection on the pool’s glass sides. I think that’s really sexy.”
On the subject of her ex-love Rob Kardashian, Rita slammed those that blame her for the reality TV star's weight gain. It was recently reported that sock designer Rob was admitted to rehab to help combat depression and substance abuse issues, though his rep denied the claim.
"Why is everybody blaming that on me? It was a phase and a moment in my life, onwards and upwards," she expressed.
