Chris Brown will reportedly remain imprisoned until June.
The 24-year-old was thrown in jail after being kicked out of anger management rehab in March.
And according to TMZ, his stint behind bars has increased by two months, as the magistrate overseeing his parole just denied his recent request to be released.
In March Chris was ordered to stay behind bars until an assault case pending against him began trial on April 23, but the proceedings were postponed to June. Apparently the star’s attorneys asked if he could return home in the meantime, but his parole judge demanded he remain in custody until the assault trial commences.
TMZ previously reported Chris could face felony prosecution in the case, stemming from his October 2013 arrest for allegedly punching a male outside a W Hotel in Washington D.C.
The Loyal singer’s probation began after he was convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Until his probation lapses Chris must obey every law. If the judge in his D.C. case finds him guilty of a felony, he can be sentenced to prison for a minimum of four years.
Chris was initially jailed in Los Angeles, and earlier this month he flew across country to D.C. via Con Air on an incredibly uncomfortable journey with other felons to stand in court on the East Coast.
The outlet now claims he will be returning to California on prison transport planes before being flown back again to the United States capital in June.
