Jason Derulo will propose to girlfriend Jordin Sparks when the time is right.
The Talk Dirty singer has been in a relationship with fellow singer Jordin for nearly three years. But the 24-year-old isn’t planning on putting a ring on it anytime soon.
“We're not engaged yet, not yet,” he told Access Hollywood Live. “When the time is right and the stars are aligned perfectly [I’ll propose]. I always have to tell myself to not allow [speculation] to interfere in the beauty that we have, and I hope that she knows that as well.”
While there is no engagement for Jason and the former American Idol winner, the couple are more loved up than ever.
Jason, who bought the 24-year-old 10,000 orange roses for Valentine’s Day and a BMW for Christmas, believes their chemistry is something that will last for eternity, married or not.
“What we have is amazing and what we have is forever, so there is no rush,” he added to the outlet.
Earlier this week the couple performed their new duet together, Vertigo, which features on his latest album. After the song, the pair were asked how many children they were planning on having together.
“He has a big family, and I grew up with one brother,” Jordin replied. “We'll start with one and go from there. I guess they could be twins, but start with one.”
Jason previously revealed details of their duet with Rap-Up TV.
“It's a very sultry song, it's called Vertigo. It's one of those records [that's] really stripped down.,” he said. “There's no bells, no whistles, it's just us and the track. It's one of those sexy joints man, you gotta check it out."
