Nick Carter’s Backstreet Boys bandmates have opened up about the pop star’s “beautiful” wedding.

The 34-year-old singer said “I Do” to fitness expert and actress Lauren Kitt in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday afternoon. The couple exchanged vows under an altar of white roses in front of their family and friends, which included Nick’s bandmates Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean. AJ discussed the ceremony, describing it as “beautiful, rustic” and “very small.” AJ’s daughter Ava was also a flower girl at the wedding.

“It was bittersweet. We’re so proud of him,” AJ told People Magazine. “To see our little baby brother finally make that big, big final step. Next step is having kids. Obviously they just got married, so obviously take your time.”

“Enjoy your time together first,” Backstreet Boy Brian added.

Nick popped the question during a vacation to the Florida Keys in February 2013 with a seven-carat diamond after sailing to a nearby island during their stay.

According to sources, fans will get a chance to watch Nick and Lauren’s emotional day as the wedding was also filmed for a reality television special. Production company Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment began shopping around for their documentary wedding only one month after they got engaged, although it is not yet known which network will be broadcasting the show.
