Selena Gomez is reportedly starting to view Justin Bieber as "uncool".
The couple have been on-and-off for months, with Justin posting a video of them dancing sexily together online around the same time it was alleged he was part of the reason she sought rehab help in January. At the moment the exact nature of their relationship isn't clear, although it's been claimed Selena is starting to tire of the 20-year-old heartthrob.
“Justin is a little bit of a crazy guy who could do something weird like proposing marriage just to keep her by his side, but that’s Selena’s exact problem with him," an insider told RadarOnline. "She really finds it uncool how he buys into his own hype, and that’s why she’s spent a couple of months trying to re-establish herself - and distance herself from Justin.”
The 21-year-old singer-and-actress apparently finds Justin a little "clingy" at times. That is another reason why she is considering moving on properly, with the star hoping to develop a more everyday romance when the time is right.
Although there is no suggestion she will start dating straight away, the brunette star has apparently already thought about what sort of man might be in her future.
"Selena is ready to date an older man. She’s grown tired of Justin’s attention-grabbing antics," the insider said.
"It’s the same issue they had before. She just isn’t the same person she was when they first got together and she doesn’t really miss the ‘old Selena’ much at all."
This comes shortly after it was claimed Justin was hoping to record a duet with Selena.
Last night Justin made a surprise appearance at the Coachella music festival in California, where he performed on stage alongside Chance The Rapper. Selena was spotted in the crowd on Friday, leading to rumours they may have been spending time together.
