Debbie Rowe is allegedly planning to fight for custody of Michael Jackson's children.

Debbie is the mother of the late King of Pop's two eldest kids Prince, 17, and 16-year-old Paris, while he had 12-year-old son Blanket via surrogate. Although she wasn't involved with their upbringing for some of their life, Paris in particular has bonded with her following Michael's death in 2009.

The children are all under the care of Michael's 83-year-old mother Katherine and while Debbie is thankful she stepped in, she reportedly feels the Jackson family matriarch is too elderly to look after them.

"Katherine's not connected with the kids or involved in their lives," she is quoted as saying to a friend by TMZ.
According to the site, the nurse will go to court in an effort to get guardianship of Prince and Paris and would also like to officially care for Blanket.

"Rowe will file legal docs asking the judge to appoint her guardian so she can move the children to her ranch in Palmdale, CA, where she has a business raising and breeding horses," it reports.

There has long been speculation about the way the children are being raised, with Michael's brothers and sisters reportedly arguing about their welfare. In 2012, the family battled over the late star's $500million will, which bequeathed his fortune to his children and mom. Michael's siblings Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine claimed the document was fake and there were also allegations that Katherine was being mistreated by members of her family - with a missing persons report filed for her at one point when Paris and Prince couldn't contact her. She was temporarily stripped of guardianship but it was then reinstated, with the kids' cousin TJ joining as co-guardian.

Last year Paris attempted suicide, although the reasons why have never been revealed. She spent a prolonged period in hospital and then went to a residential facility for young people with similar issues.

All of this is apparently deeply concerning Debbie, who fears that Michael's siblings have too much influence on the children. She reportedly believes no one is disciplining the youngsters enough, resulting in Prince becoming rebellious.

Debbie is said to be especially worried for Blanket, who she feels needs more support. She also worried that, while Paris has improved over the last year, she could be doing better.

The nurse apparently has no concerns about TJ as she believes he is a great influence and very supportive of the siblings. However, due to his music career, he can't be around as much as she would like.
