Big Sean has ended his engagement to Naya Rivera.
The 26-year-old hip hop artist became betrothed to the Glee actress in October 2013 after dating for six months.
Speculation is rife he recently ended his relationship with Naya, and Big Sean’s representative has confirmed the hearsay.
"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his spokesperson told Us Weekly magazine.
"The recent rumours and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
The American edition of Star magazine reported Big Sean felt the relationship was more serious than he could handle.
“It was too much, too fast for him,” a source told the publication, noting Naya isn’t happy about breaking up.
PerezHilton.com reports Naya unfollowed Big Sean on Twitter.
According to the website, a source captured a screen grab of a post in which the actress referred to Big Sean as “trifling”.
“@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady’s house now. Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin,” the tweet allegedly read.
There is no sign of the message on Naya’s Twitter account and a time and date stamp was not visible on the image acquired by Perez Hilton.
Naya’s spokesperson had not issued a public comment at press time.
