Peaches Geldof's sister has paid tribute to her.

The 25-year-old star was found dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, yesterday. Her father Sir Bob Geldof released a statement on behalf of all the family, in which he spoke of his utter devastation of their loss.

Now, Peaches' 31-year-old sister Fifi has posted a picture of them together as children on Instagram.

"My beautiful baby sister ... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x (sic)" she captioned the shot.

Police have described Peaches' death as "sudden and unexplained" and have reiterated today that it is "being treated as non-suspicious".

A thorough search of the five-bedroom property where her body was found has been conducted, with no hard drugs, no suicide note and no visible signs of injury discovered. British newspaper The Sun has suggested the possibility Peaches died of natural causes is now being investigated.

The journalist and TV star was married to S.C.U.M. musician Thomas Cohen and she leaves behind two sons, Astala, 23 months, and 11-month-old Phaedra.

Peaches' body was taken to a hospital in Dartford last night and a post mortem will take place tomorrow, it has been confirmed. Dr Peter Graham Jerreat is the pathologist in the case.

Flowers have been left at the home of Bob, who is also father to Peaches and Fifi's sister Pixie, 23.

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said in last night's statement. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again' How is that bearable'"

This is the latest tragedy to beset the Geldof family, following the death of the girls' mother Paula Yates from an accidental heroin overdose when Peaches was 11. She had split from Bob when the late star was six, and had a child with INXS rocker Michael Hutchence. Their daughter Tiger was born in 1996, but the following year Michael was found dead in a Sydney hotel room. When Paula died three years later, Bob obtained custody of Tiger so she could be with her sisters.

Peaches was a prolific user of social media and the last message she posted on Instagram was a photograph of her with Paula, simply captioned: "Me and my mum."

A host of stars were quick to express their sadness at the mother-of-two's passing last night, with Midge Ure the latest.
"It's just unbelievable that any one family can have so much tragedy and loss in their lives, it's just horrible," Bob's close friend said.
