Katy Perry has reportedly been "letting rip" about John Mayer.
The Dark Horse singer split from fellow musician John in February amid claims he cheated on her. Although neither has spoken about the breakup publicly, Katy has apparently been venting her fury behind the scenes.
"She's letting rip, big time," an insider told British magazine Heat. "Everything from his over-the-top metrosexuality - the waxing, the man-scara, the cashmere cardigans - right through to the size of his manhood."
Katy has reportedly had no problems discussing intimate details of her failed relationship with her friends. Far from warning her to stay tight-lipped, they apparently think getting things off her chest could benefit the 29-year-old star.
"Katy's pulling no punches in trash talking him. And frankly, he deserves it for what he did and the lies he told her - wanting to get married while carrying on with other women behind her back," one said.
While they were together Katy spoke in glowing terms about singer-songwriter John, calling him inspiring and praising his intellect. They even wrote a gushy track and recorded it together, apparently making their split even harder for her.
It was recently claimed she was finding it so hard to move on that she had turned to hypnotherapy for help.
"Katy was devastated when they broke up," a source told British magazine Grazia. "But Katy is a firm believer in alternative therapies and she wants to wipe him from her life for good, so she decided to see a hypnotherapist. She wants to retrain her brain to prevent John coming back."
