Lady Gaga's boyfriend reportedly thinks he is the "fire that stokes her".
The 28-year-old singer has been dating Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney since 2011, although they don't often discuss each other publicly.
He was on hand to support her following hew show at Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Friday and was overheard discussing her talent.
"I am the fire that stokes her imagination, and I’m happy to be that. We are all the fire that stoke her," New York Post quotes him as saying.
The after-party was held at a nightspot called BPM, with Taylor arriving quietly and sneaking into the VIP area. Gaga joined him and decided to show off some of her raunchy moves, much to the shock of onlookers.
"She then assumed a stripper persona and put on a show for him,” an insider said. “She was doing a serious lapdance and they started making out.”
There were around ten other people in the cordoned off section of the club, with Gaga and Taylor happy to smooch in front of them. She was seen with her fingers in his hair and singing her track Do What U Want to him. At one point the flamboyant star even playfully hit one of her guests with a rose.
Taylor has previously said that the differences between him and Gaga are what makes their relationship so strong. She has said a little bit about him, opening up during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show last year.
"He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other's weirdness," she said.
"That's actually one of the first things he ever said to me. It's a Dr. Seuss quote that you find in someone else a compatible weirdness. And it was one of the first things he's said to me.
"You know, at the end of the day he's my best friend and having your lover be your best friend. I mean, it's the best thing ever. It's the best thing I can say about it."
