Selena Gomez reportedly had police called to her Los Angeles home Friday after a suspected burglar was spotted on the property.
Cops swarmed the house after a neighbour saw someone jumping the wall, according to TMZ.
The outlet reports the suspect was detained and is currently being questioned as to what exactly he was doing at Selena’s home.
A source indicated the man was not attempting to break into the house, although he was allegedly trespassing.
This is the third time this year Selena has had issues with people illegally entering her property. A man was sentenced to 120 days in jail in February after trespassing at her old house.
And on March 31, another stranger was arrested after ringing her doorbell and asking if she was home. The man had broken into her guest house and was taken into custody for burglary and trespassing.
It’s not just security issues Selena is dealing with – her personal life is under considerable strain as well thanks to her relationship with Justin Bieber.
The singer may have to testify in Justin’s case against a paparazzo who accuses the pop star of beating him in 2012.
Selena is allegedly dreading getting involved.
“Selena is nervous to testify because she doesn’t want to say anything that could negatively affect Justin. She’s more than willing to support him but she’s not happy that she’s been dragged into the case,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She thinks Justin is innocent to begin with and that all these paps are just trying to get money.”
