Following her placings on the BRITs Critics’ Choice shortlist and BBC Sound of 2014 longlist, Chloe Howl has is promoting her new single Rumour.

18 year-old Howl came bounding out of the blocks earlier this year with her free download Rumour EP, a three-song set that rode the buzz blogs to Hypemachine chart glory and beyond, garnering early support from tastemakers at NME, Radio 1, the Guardian, Nylon, Pitchfork and Vogue, and racking up two million VEVO video views and counting.

No Strings, her debut single proper, followed in August, paving the way for the fizzing electro banger Paper Heart, a defiant anthem about boys being idiots, released in December 2013.

That month Howl was named one of three artists on the shortlist for the BRITs Critics’ Choice and one of 15 acts on the longlist for the BBC Sound of 2014. She will release her debut album in 2014.
