Miley Cyrus feels "broken" after the passing of her dog.
The 21-year-old singer is known to be attached to her pets and often uploads pictures on Instagram and Twitter of herself with her furry friends. Today she announced that her Alaskan Klee Kai pup Floyd, who she got in 2011, had died.
"Today is the 2nd worst day of my life," she tweeted.
"I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away I am broken
"I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him ?? this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? (sic)"
The We Can't Stop singer added two photos of herself cuddling up to Floyd, who it's likely has been a comfort since she split with fiancé Liam Hemsworth last year.
Miley is in the midst of her Bangerz Tour and is scheduled to play in Boston tonight. She's already warned fans that they may not get the energetic performance they are used to.
"I'm sorry in advance if I am not myself tomorrow Boston. I will try my best to be my best," she confessed. "I am miserable (sic)"
Animal lover Miley is still a mom to dogs Bean, Happy and Mary Jane. It's not the first time the star has been left heartbroken after the passing of a pet. In 2012 her pooch Lila, a little Yorkie, died.
"For everyone asking ... I have never been so hurt in my life," Miley wrote on Twitter at the time. "My heart has never been so broken..... Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away. (sic)".
