It took 12 years before Biffy Clyro found mainstream success with their release of ‘Puzzle’ and after years of painstaking touring and countless festival appearances the band will complete their biggest festival set when they headline T in the Park 2014.

Biffy Clyro’s alternative-rock sound famous for its simplistic quiet/loud dynamic has spawned hits including: ‘Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies’ and ‘Mountains’ but they have a softer side too with the acoustic ‘Machines’ and the rarely performed ‘Folding Stars’. Their set headlining T in the Park is likely to bring back all the retired favourites as they seek to prove themselves following some underwhelming releases in the last few years. The band will also headline the Isle of Wight festival alongside megastars the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Kings of Leon.

Biffy are also appearing lower down the bill in the Netherlands and Belgium for those looking to get the best bang for their buck but don’t expect the same kind of set as T in the Park. The band are certainly seasoned festival performers and fans can expect an energetic showing from frontman Simon Neil. Whether you see them as headliners or playing a shorter set the band rarely disappoint and usually succeed in whipping crowds into a frenzy.

Biffy Clyro’s festival dates: Pinkpop (9th June), Isle of Wight (13th June), Rock for People (3rd July), Rock Werchter (5th July), T in the Park (11th July), Gurten Festival (17th July), Taubertal Festival (8th August) and the Pstereo Festival (15th August). The band then head off to Australia for several tour dates. The band will headline all dates except: Pinkpop and Rock Werchter.
