After his perennial popularity resulted in phenomenal sales for his previous two tours, Michael Bublé can now announce that he’ll return to the UK for a new arena tour this December.
150,000+ tickets were sold during a 10-date residency at The O2 last summer, which was followed by a further 120,000 ticket sales for his recent shows in Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham – all of which sold-out on the day they went on-sale.
The new tour schedule is:
5th – Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
8th – Leeds, first direct arena
15th – London, The O2
16th – London, The O2
Tickets go on-sale from 9am on Friday, April 4th. They’re priced at £50, £60 and £85 for London, and £50, £60 and £75 for Newcastle and Leeds (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
‘To Be Loved’ is Michael Bublé’s sixth studio album following his ‘Christmas’ album which sold seven million copies internationally and was the second biggest selling album of 2011. Now closing in on 700,000 sales in the UK alone where the album was his first to go straight to #1, it continues to command a Top 20 chart placing almost a year after it was released. ‘To Be Loved’ also earned Michael his fourth Grammy Award when it won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
