LeAnn Rimes is counting down to the premiere of her reality show.

The singer’s US show, LeAnn & Eddie, follows the star’s life with husband Eddie Cibrian.

Despite rumours of drama plaguing the production, LeAnn told fans on Sunday VH1 is moving forward with the show, which will apparently air this summer.

“Happy! We now have an exact date for the premier for ‘LeAnn & Eddie’ @vh1 July 17 is not far off. This year is flying by!!” she wrote.

LeAnn’s comments follow just weeks after reports surfaced producers were grappling with “boring footage and a quagmire of legal red tape”.

“There’s no chemistry between LeAnn and Eddie,” a source told America’s Star magazine last month. “She spends the entire time adoring and grabbing him, and he couldn’t care less.”

LeAnn was also said to be upset about a judge banning her from speaking about Eddie’s two young sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville on the show.

“She’s flipping out and doesn’t feel relevant,” the source added. “She’s in a terrible state.”

The tense relationship between LeAnn and Brandi has played out in the public eye for years.

Earlier on Sunday, LeAnn lashed out on Twitter after Brandi allegedly failed to notify Eddie their son was rushed to the emergency room.

“Got a text from a friend at 4:30am asking if mason was ok. THANK GOD! Mason just called Eddie himself!! It’s been a panicked morning not knowing anything and mason being all the way across the US. Relived to know he’s ok.,” the singer tweeted (sic).

Brandi also took to the website, assuring all Mason was recovering from his ailment.

“He is doing a lot better and all will be fine,” she wrote.
