Legendary songwriter Graham Gouldman is set to be inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame at a special ceremony in New York in June.
Previous inductees include Noel Coward, Irving Berlin, Burt Bacharach, Neil Sedaka, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Leonard Cohen and Sting.
After writing hits such as Pamela, Pamela for Wayne Fontana, For Your Love and Heart Full of Soul for The Yardbirds, Bus Stop and Look Through Any Window for The Hollies, No Milk Today for Herman's Hermits, and Tallyman for Jeff Beck, he formed 10cc in 1972 with Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Crème.
As a band they enjoyed eleven Top 10 hits, including three No 1s – Rubber Bullets, I’m Not In Love and Dreadlock Holiday – along with tracks such as Donna, reaching No 2, Good Morning Judge (No 5) and The Things We Do For Love’ (6).
Due to the success of 2013’s acoustic Heart Full of Songs tour, Graham is set to hit the road again this spring with 20 intimate concerts across the country, reinforcing his status as one of the world’s leading songwriters. Tour dates below.
