Controversial rapper DMX will join the already announced headliners Redman, Method Man and Pusha T at open air beach festival NEW YORKER FRESH ISLAND, which takes place on the island of Pag in Croatia from 23-25th July.

DMX is a multi award winning artist who his made his name not only through music but also starring in films and collaborating with the likes of Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Eminem. Due to complications with the law, DMX hasn't touched the stage in Europe in over ten years, but yesterday announced that he would be coming to NEW YORKER FRESH ISLAND FESTIVAL - a 5000 capacity festival on Croatia's party beach Zrce - to make his first return.

NEW YORKER FRESH ISLAND's organisers added ',After carefully paying attention to DMX's international moves we decided to invite Rap's most controversial figure to join us at 2014's New Yorker Fresh Island Festival in Croatia this summer and he'll be closing down the mainstage on 25th July'.
