The team behind much feted party Red Sky are launching a new clubbing concept on 4th April in Notting Hill. Not only will MODE be bringing ‘cultural nights out’ to West London (of the ilk you might find in Berlin or Amsterdam) but the club looks to fuse music with street art and fine dining amidst the UK’s most cutting edge VOID soundsystem.
The venue, situated on Acklam Road (close to Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road tube stations) in the space that was formerly Supper Club, has been completely revamped to include street art pieces such as Shephard Fairey’s Andre the Giant and unique installations including a church organ and crashing spitfire created by sculptor Ruby Soho. All the art will be replaced every six months and is curated under the guidance of Creative Director Robin Collings, co-founder of Glastonbury’s Shangri-La field.
Singer and presenter turned Chef Andi Oliver will be running the kitchen at MODE and feeding hungry clubbers, but at present both the exact menu and the inaugural line ups seem to be tightly under wraps.
