One of the UK's most exciting bands, and Glastonbury Emerging Talent Winners, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour, are set to release new single ‘We Talked Again' in April 2014.
Taken from their highly anticipated second album ‘New Skin', ‘We Talked Again' is both powerful and fragile.

Melancholy melody meets heart-pulling lyrics as the track develops from a mournful solo cry, to a cacophony of fast-moving instrumental lines and vocal harmonies.

Bridie says - “We Talked Again is about our innate need to connect but how, often through suspicion or repression, we feel unable to, and so we use universal dramas as an excuse to briefly exchange compassion with others, before awkwardly retiring, as if it never happened.”¬¬

Regarded by many as ‘rising stars' of the music scene, with their unusual instrumentation and blend of influences as diverse as gospel, baroque and fado; Bridie Jackson and The Arbour are frequently proclaimed to be completely unique.

With new producer, Mick Ross, the girls have developed their sound from folk-influenced acoustic splendour to full-bodied song landscapes. On forthcoming album, New Skin, they intertwine melancholy strings with joyful rich harmonies to form a uniquely ethereal collection of haunting yet powerful songs.

They celebrate the launch of the new album with a UK tour in April 2014. Taking in a mixture of iconic city venues, including St Pancras Old Church in London and Gateshead Old Town Hall, the tour will see them playing to new audiences across the country, as well as their loyal fans, who have supported the girls throughout their meteoric rise from grass roots favourite, to critics' choice.

2013 saw the band receive awards from Arts Council England, Help Musicians UK and City Music Foundation, secure radio play on BBC 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 Music, including live sessions for Dermot O’Leary, R4’s Loose Ends and R3’s In Tune, and perform on multiple stages at the legendary Glastonbury Festival, having beaten over 8,000 contenders to win the 2013 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition.

They continue working hard to introduce their original style to a wider audience, with a 19-date UK tour in April, appearances at The Great Escape, Hop Farm Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Cornbury, Bingley Live, London Folk Festival and many other summer events both here and across Europe yet to be announced.
