Karrueche Tran was supposedly incensed over Chris Brown’s “army of jump offs”.
The 25-year-old model is said to have recently broken up with the troubled R&B singer.
Chris was sent to jail after being dismissed from a court-ordered rehab facility last Friday, but apparently his romance with Karrueche was over long before this recent controversy.
“Karrueche Tran didn't dump Chris Brown because of the girl he allegedly banged in rehab,” TMZ writes, claiming sources reveal his philandering ways were evident months ago.
“[She] dropped the hammer on their relationship because he refused to stop texting his army of jump offs.”
Chris reportedly engaged in a fling with a woman at rehab in early March, and it is thought Karrueche didn’t know about this incident until it grabbed headlines in the past few days. And the discovery of flirty text messages with other women was in fact the thing that proved to be “the last straw” for her.
Up until recently, Karrueche has been demonstrably supportive of former flame Chris as he battles ongoing legal woes stemming from his 2009 assault conviction, which stemmed from the beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Just before Chris went into rehab in October 2013, it is claimed Karrueche put aside her personal motivations to ensure her man knew he was supported.
“Make no mistake, Chris needs her and she wants to be there for him,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “She will be with him to make sure he’s cool. With these circumstances, they’re both putting old issues behind them.”
