Rihanna was celebrating the memory of her late grandmother on Sunday.
The 26-year-old pop star was left devastated when she lost her beloved "gran gran" Dolly following a long battle with cancer in 2012.
But Rihanna proved she hasn’t forgotten about her at the weekend, and paid tribute to her relative by sharing old photographs on Instagram
“Happy Birthday to my Angel!!! #DearDolly,” she captioned an image of the pair together.
“Birthday girl. #Dolly,” she wrote next to another image of Dolly smiling while wearing a cap and chain.
Rihanna previously paid tribute to her beloved grandmother by getting a tattoo of the Egyptian goddess Isis on her ribcage in her honour.
"Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations - #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart (sic)," she captioned an image revealing the design shortly after her death.
Rihanna meanwhile appears to be finding solace in the arms of Drake.
The two stars have dated in the past and reports suggest they recently reconciled after she performed with him at his concert in Paris.
Multiple sources told TMZ this weekend the pair have decided to be exclusive.
Rihanna and Drake have been seen on several dates recently and he apparently took the opportunity to discuss the depth of his feelings for the Barbados-born star while partying with Rihanna’s half-sister in Berlin.
"He was telling [Sam] he wants to marry Ri - he's so in love with her. He was totally grilling Sam on Rihanna. She promised to put in a good word," an insider told British magazine Heat earlier this month.
"This isn't the first time that Drake has said he wants to marry Rihanna. He's convinced that no other woman could keep him interested for life."
