Spandau Ballet, featuring the original line-up of Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, Steve Norman, John Keeble, performed for the first time in 29 years in the USA at SXSW in Austin, Tx on Wednesday night.

The five Spandau Ballet members made the pilgrimage to the Texas capital for the premiere of their documentary ‘Soul Boys of the Western World’.

The band performed at the Vulcan Gas Co in Austin of the premiere of the movie at the Paramount Theater. It was their first gig on US soil since 1985.

Spandau Ballet reformed in 2009 and at that time decided to make their documentary.

They plan to return to the USA later this year or early 2015 for a countrywide tour. Music-News.com were on hand to welcome the boys back to the US. Our exclusive interview will be up shortly.
