Louis Tomlinson has added to his tattoo collection.

One Direction singer was seen Saturday at Shamrock Tattoo in West Hollywood, a favourite establishment of his bandmates.

In photos newly published by MailOnline, the 22-year-old pop star is shown getting a black arrow etched on his left arm.

The website reports Louis was also sporting other new ink, including tattoos of a Noughts and Crosses board and a Pac-Man figure.

Louis is known for sporting unusual designs, including the word “Oops!” below a steaming hot cup of tea.

The singer was seen arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday after flying from England and it seems Louis and his bandmates are already busy recording.

“Great working with the Good Charlotte boys today !!” he tweeted on Saturday.

The tweet came just days after Louis used the micro-blog to blast parents who had slammed 1D’s “explicit” lyrics.

UK newspaper The Mirror reported last week a mother and father recently yanked their two teenagers from a choir performance in Michigan’s Chelsea School District upon discovering they were going to sing Live While We’re Young with fellow students.

The parents were reportedly upset by a line in the song: “'Tonight let's get some, and live while we're young,” insisting it was too sexually explicit for the teens to sing.

After hearing the story, Louis wrote: "Dear Mr and Mrs Stone, I'm deeply saddened by your complaint to Chelsea High School regarding our lyrics,” musing, “I hope the two of you 'get some' very soon :) #cryingparents.”
