Kim Kardashian will reportedly receive $1 million for every year she is married to Kanye West, according to their pre-nuptial agreement.

The couple are busy preparing for their upcoming wedding, which is rumoured to be taking place on May 24.

According to sources, the reality star and her rapper beau are close to finalising paperwork that would see Kim receive a sizeable amount of money if they split.

“The entire process for the pre-nup for Kim and Kanye has been extremely easy, and relatively drama free,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online.

“Kanye didn’t even think the couple needed a pre-nup, and was ready to give Kim carte blanche to all of his financial assets. Yes, he loves Kim that much.”

While this is Kanye’s first marriage, it will be Kim’s third, having been married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000-2003 and basketball player Kris Humphries for only 72 days in 2011.

The source added that agreeing a pre-nup this time has been a much more straightforward process for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

“There is a huge difference from Kim’s pre-nup with Kris Humphries… the preparation of their agreement went on for several months. It was long and tedious,” the source added.

Kim’s $1 million per year will be capped at $10 million and according to other parts of the agreement, their house will be in her name and any money she earns from her family’s show, the Kardashian clothing line, and promotional appearances, will be considered her separate and sole income.

According to reports, the Yeezus singer is worth $100 million while Kim is worth $40 million.
