Dutch Latin house Supremo, Gregor Salto is contributing his track ‘Samba Do Mundo’ to’ Fatboy Slim Presents Bem Brazil’, an alternative soundtrack to the 2014 World Cup, curated by the man himself.

What better way for Fatboy Slim to launch the album than with a track by Gregor Salto. The Dutch born DJ & Producer has been an ever present force on the world club scene for over a decade and is famed for his love of Samba rhythms and floor filling dance music. ‘Samba Do Mundo’ is a prime example, of this, with its traditional Latin rhythms and massive injection of big room house beats, giving a great taster of what ‘Bem Brazil’ is all about.
Fatboy Slim returns in 2014 to curate a compilation album which includes remixes of classic Brazilian songs, such as Felguk’s remix of Jorge Ben Jor’s ‘Taj Mahal’, as well as brand new tunes by some of the world’s finest contemporary artists like DJ Fresh, Gregor Salto, Carl Cox and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

Fatboy Slim has had a long love affair with Brazil, its people and its culture, having DJed there many times including to 100,000’s of people at Salvador carnival in Bahia (on the back of a trio no less) and even in Brazil’s version of the Big Brother house. It was this love which inspired him to work with the prestigious Decca Records on creating a soundtrack to this year’s biggest summer event.

With only months left before the first time ball meets boot in Brazil, Fatboy and his compatriots are here to get the party started early.
