Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will reportedly marry in May.

The pair, who share eight-month-old daughter North, became engaged in October and are said to be planning a lavish wedding in Paris.

According to Us Weekly, the couple have set May 24 as the date they will say “I do”.

Kanye and Kim reportedly view Paris as their “second home”, and were seen last year touring the Palace of Versailles amid rumours they were searching for the perfect wedding venue.

But the outlet reports they could be considering France's Chateau d'Usse.

While details about the venue remain unclear, the tabloid suggests guests will enjoy several days in the City of Lights, with most flying in ahead of the nuptials.

It’s rumoured Kanye has been planning a huge spectacle for his first wedding. However, Kim told US radio host Ryan Seacrest last month they were in fact preparing to host a “super, super small, intimate” affair.

“As we go along, we're realising we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking,” she revealed.

That would be in sharp contrast to Kim’s 2011 wedding with basketball player Kris Humphries. More than 500 people, and film crews, attended the ceremony, which later aired as a special on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The pair split after a mere 72 days.

Kim was also previously married to Damon Thomas. The reality star and music producer eloped in 2000 and were married for three years before he filed for divorce.

Spokespersons for Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, have yet to confirm the wedding date.
