Franz Ferdinand release a new single, Fresh Strawberries, on Monday April 7th 2014.
Taken from their much acclaimed fourth album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the single, featuring Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls on guest vocals, was produced by Prince House Rabbit and features Erdbeer Mund, a new German language track which was unveiled online last week and now has an accompanying video which can be watched below.
Shot in deepest Bavaria, the video was directed by band member, Nick McCarthy’s sister, Anna McCarthy.
The end of last year saw them play shows in Japan and Australia and they return to the U.K. in March before heading to the U.S., Canada & Mexico for an extensive tour.
Support on the U.K. tour will be Eagulls, except London where Mazes play on the 14th and The Bohicas on the 15th.
