Madison Square Garden will be the site next Thursday morning of an major announcement by Queen (Brian May and Roger Taylor) and Adam Lambert.

Specifically, ABC Radio News broke the news that there will be "some sort of event" with "details to follow" by the two artists on Thursday. Back in mid-January, May said he thought Queen was "up for one more swing out there" and followed up in early February by saying "We've been talking to Adam Lambert, you know we've already done some gigs with Adam, who is amazing."

Queen and Lambert first played together on American Idol's finale night where Lambert came in second. They have, over the next five years, played together on a number of occasions but never a planned tour including last September's iHeart Music Festival. May has said "I know if Freddie saw Adam, he would just be smiling all over his face, because the guy is a real artist."
