Justin Bieber has convinced his mom to join him in the studio.
The 19-year-old singer is working on some new music, with his last fully released album being 2012's Believe.
Now he's shared a short clip of his mother Pattie Mallette, 37, showing off her beautiful voice by belting out some lines of an unknown song.
"Got my moms courage enough to get in the booth for the first time she sounds so good :) (sic)," he wrote alongside the video on Instagram.
Justin didn't elaborate on the recording, so it's unknown whether Pattie was just giving singing a go or whether he is planning on collaborating with her.
Judging by the fans' responses on Twitter, some were very keen for a song featuring his mother.
"she sounds great! (sic)" one posted, while another even offered: "Can i write her a Song ? She sounds really well.. Congrats ;) (sic)"
The singer has been hitting headlines for the wrong reason recently. He has been accused of causing $20,000 of damage to his neighbour's home by throwing eggs and was arrested for DUI in Miami last month.
It seems as though the star is trying to get back on track by putting all of his effort into his tracks.
"Dance rehearsal. Guitar practice. Workouts. Voice strengthening. Studio writing sessions. Always working to get better. Work hard. Be great," he recently tweeted.
"Out here working hard. Tired. Never stop. Love this music and the craft (sic)"
Luckily he has Pattie, who is always looking out for him.
"As any caring mother would be, Pattie is genuinely concerned for Justin, and she has said in many interviews before that she doesn't have her head in the clouds and keeps in very close touch with Justin,” a source told E! News previously.
“She talks with him almost every day, which is likely more than any mom and a 19-year-old son... and she is in the public eye dealing with all of this."
