Simon Cowell’s baby boy “will not be folically challenged”.

The music mogul’s best friend Bruno Tonioli has made this observation less than a week after Simon’s first child, Eric Philip, was welcomed into the world.

Although the baby is just days old, Bruno believes Eric’s head of hair is incredibly impressive.

“That baby will not be follically challenged,” he told British newspaper The Sun.

“It might even get a L’Oreal advert or two.”

Bruno, who has been friends with Simon for 30 years, believes he’s seen The X Factor creator’s hair styled in nearly every conceivable fashion.

And he is constantly impressed with the way Simon sports his thatch.

“Simon has great hair. In his 20s he had fantastic locks. It’s his haircut — he can’t give that haircut to a child!” Bruno joked.

Baby Eric was born on Friday February 14 in New York, weighing 6lbs 7oz, to Simon and his partner Lauren Silverman.

Simon is apparently fell in love with his son immediately, and couldn’t contain his joy.

“He told Lauren it was the best day of his life. He is completely besotted,” a source told UK newspaper The Mirror.

“He is such proud dad, and they are completely obsessed. It was such an incredible and emotional day for them both.

Simon was amazing and was by Lauren’s side the entire time. He couldn’t stop smiling and there were very happy tears from everyone, including Simon. They are completely in love and so excited now Eric has arrived.”
