Fergie thanks her “Avon Lady” grandmother for exposing her to glamour.

The 38-year-old singer recently established a professional partnership with beauty company Avon and she even produced a fragrance for the venerable business, which was founded in 1886.

And Fergie claims she has fond memories related to Avon products, as her late grandma sold them when she was a child.

“My grandmother was actually an Avon Lady and I can remember her having little parties with her friends and showing them all of the beautiful makeup pieces,” she told Hollywood Life.

“When I was younger I even asked my grandmother to leave me her makeup in her will! – My mom would also help my grandma wrap up the gifts herself.”

Fergie claims her working relationship with Avon is truly special.

The star feels fully self-expressed whilst creating products under their banner.

“In joining Avon I felt as though they truly wanted to work with me, both as a person and as an artist — for the unique style and perspective that I bring to the table,” Fergie said.

“They are giving me the opportunity to have a real place in the brand.”

Fergie welcomed her first child, son Axl Rose, with her husband Josh Duhamel in August 2013.

And Josh recently spoke about how well his wife dresses their little boy.

“It’s not me [who keeps Axl styled so well]! She’s much more fashion conscious than I am,” he admitted to Access Hollywood. “That’s all Fergs - that’s not me.”
